Graduation Outcomes
In 2021, under the strong leadership of the university and the committed efforts of its faculty and staff, the first cohort of students (intake 2017) from the Medical Laboratory Technology and Medical Imaging Technology programs successfully graduated with an impressive completion rate. Most graduates quickly secured employment, meeting the growing labor demand—particularly during the challenging period of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020–2021.
II. Functions and Responsibilities
The Faculty of Medicine is responsible for training students across multiple health science disciplines. Its core duties include:

Designing and updating training programs

Organizing and implementing teaching and practical training activities

Developing textbooks, course materials, and laboratory lessons

Scheduling instructional plans and managing academic operations

Assessing and evaluating student learning outcomes
Due to the specialized nature of medical education, the Faculty also plays a key role in building partnerships with healthcare facilities. It works closely with hospitals and clinics in Can Tho City and throughout the Mekong Delta to support training, internships, and workforce development for the region’s medical sector.
